I think this may be the worst bit of music writing I’ve ever read in the Guardian, which is saying something given that they frequently publish Alexis Petridis. It’s totally incoherent, attempting to somehow criticize Angel Haze by saying she’s like Erykah Badu, Biggie, Ghostface, and Nas. And then it attempts to damn with faint praise by calling her “articulate.”
