The disjunction is a particularly advanced variant of the “headline which invites the answer ‘obviously no,’” so good work on that. I do like that the ”Singularity Summit” was held at San Francisco’s Masonic Temple, because this singularity stuff is based around a mystified an ritualistic image of rationalism, which also lies at the heart of freemasonry. Also like masonry, interest in the singularity is hella retro (its most recent influence is probably 1960s AI research).
